Exceptional Card Table by Holland & Sons (1803-1942). This high quality 19th century card table has a Burr Walnut veneer, fold over top. 4 gothic style turned legs, raised on an X frame chamfered based. The playing top spins to reveal a storage space, to where it is stamped “HOLLAND & SONS”. Originally having a royal blue baize (now missing). A real rare and outstanding piece of furniture. £850

A Bretby art pottery large art nouveau stick stand decorated with red, yellow and green glazes, with the usual slight chippings seen in the photos. Wonderful colours, a truly lovely item in the art nouveau style with lion motifs. Dating from the Art Nouveau period, the condition of this antique stick stand is very good with the chippings at the bottom and one slight chip on the top.
