A fabulous marble-top centre table. The carved frieze of Rococo style is supported by three winged griffons on a tri-base. Mostly oak with a fruitwood tri-base, this item is in superb condition for its age, mid 19th Century. The marble top is a recent replacement, complements a stunning base. A rare and superb antique. This table is covered in inlaid designs from the Hepplewhite period. Typical Neo Classical Urns surrounding a large star fan oval panel with ribbons and organic stems. The reeded legs and the scalloped gallery have not escaped this inlay, the top finished off with four finials. Condition is very good with just a minor crack on top tier.

This high quality 19th century card table has a Burr Walnut veneer, fold over top. 4 gothic style turned legs, raised on an X frame chamfered based. The playing top spins to reveal a storage space, to where it is stamped “HOLLAND & SONS”. Originally having a royal blue baize (now missing). A real rare and outstanding piece of furniture. £850
